ABOUT US
The LA Planning Alliance is created by Neighborhood Council Planning and Land Use Chairs and stakeholders to promote community participation in planning, environmental reviews, and land use issues, to review important City processes, and to provide links to current and imminent projects for participants. We will reanimate our bureaucracies to act with more responsiveness to local community needs.
We are looking at the 2021 implementation of Community Design Plans (CDOs), Updates on the CDOs, the Boyle Heights and the Northeast LA (NELA) CDO, Design and Development Standards, the implementation of Ordinances based on these CDO’s, and how the Department of City Planning interprets the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) numbers on residents, households (=units), and jobs and thereby the commuter patterns.
